People Above Age 18 Can Get COVID-19 Vaccines From 1st May

The central government on April 19 announced that individuals over 18 years will be able get COVID-19 vaccine from May 1.

The third phase of the vaccination plan goals to speed up the inoculation drive throughout the nation. The Centre has mentioned that it’s going to enable the vaccine producers to provide half of their production to the federal government of India, whereas they’d be free to share the remaining half with the states and in open market as effectively.

“Beneath Section 3 of COVID 19  vaccination technique, vaccine producers would provide 50% of their month-to-month Central Drugs Laboratory released doses to Govt of India & can be free to provide the remaining 50% doses to State Govts and within the open market,” ANI reported citing a government statement.
